You've had the best day of your life, you've come back from the honeymoon, and now you're refreshing your inbox every five minutes wondering where your film is. We get it. The wait is the hardest part.
So let's set your expectations honestly, explain what's actually happening behind the scenes, and tell you exactly when you'll have everything in your hands.
The quick answer
With us, here's the timeline:
Your sneak peek and highlight film land within 72 hours of your wedding day. Yes, that quickly. While the confetti's barely been swept up, you'll already have something to watch and share.
Your full video collection arrives around 12 to 15 weeks after the day. That's the complete set, fully edited, colour graded and ready to treasure forever.
Most couples are genuinely surprised by how fast the sneak peek comes, and then completely understand why the full collection takes a bit longer once they see the finished result.
Why the sneak peek comes so fast
We know the excitement is unbearable in those first few days. Everyone's asking to see it, you're buzzing, and you want something to hold onto while the day's still fresh.
That's exactly why we turn your highlight film and sneak peek around within 72 hours. It's a taste of the magic, edited and ready, so you've got something beautiful to share with family and friends almost straight away. You can see examples of our films here to get a feel for what lands in your inbox first.
Why the full film takes longer
Here's the bit nobody sees, and it's worth understanding because it's the reason your film is so good.
A wedding film isn't just footage stitched together. Before we even start editing, we plan and storyboard your film so the story you watch matches the day you actually remember. Then comes the real work:
We sort through hours of footage from multiple cameras. We sync and clean the audio so your vows and speeches sound crisp and clear. We colour grade every shot so it looks cinematic rather than flat. We choose music that fits the feeling of your day, often taking inspiration from your own entrance song and first dance. And we cut, refine and polish until it feels right.
That's dozens of hours of skilled work per wedding. Rushing it would mean a worse film, and your wedding deserves better than rushed. The 12 to 15 weeks isn't us being slow. It's us doing it properly.
What you actually get, and how
Everything comes through our private digital delivery platform. No DVDs that scratch, no USB sticks that get lost in a drawer. Just a personal, secure link to your whole collection that you can watch and share again and again.
It works on every device that connects to the internet, and we've tested them all. You can even load it straight onto your smart TV and watch your wedding on the big screen with a single click. Your films are in stunning 4K, so they'll still look incredible years from now.
You can download everything to keep, and we can add a password later to keep it private once you've shared it with everyone you want to.
A few things that affect timing
Worth a quick mention so there are no surprises.
Peak season. During the busy summer months we're filming a lot of weddings, so the full edit queue can be at the longer end of that window. The sneak peek timing doesn't change though.
Add-ons. If you've gone for the documentary edit, that's a separate, longer process. It's around two hours of footage to prepare, so it typically takes a couple of months on top. Worth knowing if you've added it.
Special requests. If there are specific moments you want featured, tell us during planning rather than after. We always ask couples for must-have moments upfront so nothing gets missed.
The honest truth about the wait
We know 12 to 15 weeks feels like forever when you're excited. But ask any of our couples and they'll tell you the same thing: the moment that full film lands and you sit down to watch your whole day back, properly, in cinematic quality, every second of the wait disappears.
It's worth it. It always is. Have a read of our reviews and you'll see couple after couple saying exactly that.
