When Should You Book Your Wedding Videographer?

Short answer: earlier than you think.

If you've just got engaged, congratulations, and also, this is one of the first suppliers you should be locking in. Not because we're trying to rush you, but because the good ones genuinely do go first, and we'd rather you knew that now than found out the hard way.

Once we're booked for the 14th of June, that's it, we're gone. It doesn't matter if you ask us eight months before or eighteen, if someone got there first, the date's taken.

Why the best suppliers book up fast

This catches a lot of couples out, so it's worth being straight about.

Peak dates in Essex go first

If you're planning a Saturday between May and September, you're in the busiest window of the year. Bank holiday weekends, late summer, and anything with a nice round date all get snapped up early.

Off-peak couples, think winter weddings, weekday weddings, and Sundays, have a bit more breathing room. But even then, we wouldn't leave it. If you've fallen for a particular supplier, the only way to guarantee them is to book them.

A quick tip if you're flexible: midweek and off-season weddings are often easier to book and can work out better value across the board, not just on video. Worth knowing if your dream supplier is already busy on Saturdays.

What if you've left it late?

Don't panic. Late bookings happen all the time and they're absolutely worth a shot.

If your wedding's only a few months away, get in touch anyway. Sometimes we've got availability, sometimes a date opens up, and even when our main team is booked, we may be able to help. There's no harm in asking, and you've nothing to lose by checking your date with us.
